One of the things I enjoy about writing a Vendée blog is to be able to share photographs of places in the Vendée. Somehow words are not enough to convey the essence and atmosphere of a place. The medieval garden mentioned in my last blog post is a VERY special place. Here is a photograph of flowers in the garden that were positively 'humming' with bees!
